The East Hawaii Regional Board of Directors of Hawaii Health Systems Corporation plans a Puna town hall meeting to get input about community members’ health-related needs.

The meeting is scheduled for 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, at the Pahoa Community Center at 15-2910 Puna Road.

HHSC representatives will offer “an overview of the operations and financial condition of all of the facilities, as well as a view toward the future.” Community members “welcomed to share their perspectives and concerns regarding access to health care services.”

East Hawaii regional board chairman Dr. Dan Belcher said the board looks forward to hearing the community’s input and ideas for health care in Puna.
